The EPSRC today announced that they will be funding the EPSRC Industrial CDT in Offshore Renewable Energy (IDCORE). They will provide funding us to recruit another 50 students to undertake challenging and original research projects in industry. As before our students will graduate with a jointly awarded Doctor of Engineering from the Universities of Edinburgh, Exeter and Strathclyde. Our partnership with the Scottish Association for Marine Science to train our students in marine biology and societal issues was recognised by Sir Mark Walport (Chief Executive of UKRI) in his address.
