Economic and Policy Analysis for Offshore Renewables

Donald is currently working with the Policy and Innovation Group within the Institute for Energy Systems, on a range of UK and European projects. 

Donald is a civil and environmental engineer with a focus on techno-economic assessment of water and renewable energy projects. He is an IDCORE graduate and his EngD considered testing marine renewable energy devices in a combined wave-current environment at the University of Edinburgh's FloWave Ocean Energy Research Facility. He also has prior experience of hydrology and flood risk assessment, plus the development, consenting, and environmental impact assessment of small hydropower and flood alleviation schemes.
